Insurance
How it works

No mystery, no pressure, no surprises at the end.

Here is the whole process, including the parts other agencies leave out.

  1. You tell us the basics

Name, age, state, and what you are trying to protect — a mortgage, an income, a funeral bill, a retirement. Two minutes on the form or one phone call.

  2. A licensed agent calls you

They will ask about health history, prescriptions, and budget. Answer honestly, including the parts you would rather not — an accurate application is what makes a claim pay years later.

  3. We shop the carriers we are appointed with

Different carriers treat the same health history very differently. Being independent means we can take your file to the one most likely to underwrite it well, rather than the only one on our shelf.

  4. You compare, in plain English

Death benefit, premium, term or permanence, what is guaranteed and what is not, exclusions, and what happens if you stop paying. If we think you should buy less coverage than you asked for, we will say so.

  5. You apply — if it fits

The application goes to the carrier. Depending on the product this may involve a phone interview, a prescription history check, and sometimes a paramedical exam.

  6. The carrier underwrites and decides

They may approve as applied, approve at a different rate class, ask for more information, or decline. Your agent tells you which, and what it means, as soon as we know.

  7. The policy is issued and delivered

Read it. Most states give you a free-look period — typically ten to thirty days — during which you can return the policy for a refund of premium. The exact period is stated in your policy.

  8. We stay reachable

Beneficiary changes, address changes, a review when life changes, and help for your family at claim time. That last one is the entire point.

What it costs you to work with us

Nothing. There is no fee to speak with an agent, no fee to compare options, and no fee to apply. When you purchase a policy, Maxivita Insurance LLC receives a commission from the insurance carrier that issues it. That commission is paid by the carrier, not added to your premium as a separate charge.

What we will not do

  • Quote you a premium before we know your age, state, and health history — any number produced without those is fiction.
  • Tell you a policy is guaranteed to be issued. Underwriting is the carrier's decision, not ours.
  • Describe a life insurance policy as an investment, a savings account, or a retirement plan.
  • Sell your information to a list of unrelated companies. See our privacy policy.

This policy has exclusions, limitations, and terms under which the policy may be continued in force or discontinued. For costs and complete details of the coverage, call or write your insurance agent or the company.

Maxivita Insurance LLC is not connected with or endorsed by the U.S. government, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, the Social Security Administration, or any state or federal agency.

Ready when you are.
